Real life meal prep (Follow-up video)

So this is what meal time prep looks like
in real life in the Hudson house. It’s about 4:30 on a Wednesday. So I’m getting ready to have dinner here in
about a half hour and then we gotta head out tonight for church. So we’re getting ready for that. And it gets a little crazy a little loud everyone
gets a little hungry. You moms know like the 4 to 5 hours is a little
bit, a little bit crazy. So this is what it looks like around here
today. Over here I have my little helpers, J.J. and
Essie. They seem to keep each other pretty entertained
while I’m in the kitchen. J.J. loves sitting up there anytime I’m in
the kitchen because sometimes he gets food out of the deal. And over here I’m just frying up some chicken. It’s breaded in spices and fried in coconut
oil. Hopefully, there’s enough there left there
for some leftovers. And then I just make up their little plates. They’re getting salad tonight so there’ll
be romaine and spinach on there. I might put on some cheese and croutons, that
kind of stuff. And that’s it, it’s that simple. And then I’ll just slice up some oranges for
them to have. And then I have to show you the new addition
to our dining area here. Mack made me a little sign. Because what’s mom always saying at the dinner
table? No tooting. So now I don’t have to say it as often because
they can just read this sign. That’s it, that’s what dinner time looks like
around here. Say bye-bye. Bye-bye. So we want to know what some of the tips are
that you have on how to make dinner time run smoothly at your house. Also if you like this check out the previous

  • Love your tips! We do drinks after they eat their meals. Our kids tend to fill up on drinks and continue to ask for more drinks. And there's also the spilling aspect. It just saves us a lot of hassle.
