New Customizable Kitchen Appliances | This Just In

Jen: We’re here today to talk about something really new and exciting. And it’s the brand new integrated column refrigerators and freezers from Fisher & Paykel. Kimberley: And these are quite cool because you can put them together in whatever configuration works for you. Jen: You can create how large of a fridge you need, or small of a fridge you need. But you can also separate them. So if you’d like your freezer in a different section than you have your fridge, you can do that too. Kimbereley: These ones are done so there’s only 1/8″ of a gap between your cabinets and your appliance. And there’s no hinges. Or grills showing. So it literally can be a seamless look in your kitchen. Which is so great right now cause kitchens are so integrated into your main living spaces. These refrigerators are full of cool functions. These columns from Fisher & Paykel feature variable temperature zones. There are basically two zones. And you can choose how cool you want those zones to be. And there are three choices. The first mode is Pantry. Where you can put things that you maybe wouldn’t normally keep in the refrigerator, bananas, avocados, tomatoes. The second mode is Fridge, which is a little bit more like your normal fridge temperatures. And then the third mode is Chill. Jen: You might want to have your Chill mode for all your wine and your drinks. Kimberley: And the freezers also have different modes. Jen: You can actually put items in the Soft Freeze and take them out directly to cook. You don’t need to thaw them cause it’s a soft freeze. Kimberley: The lighting is also amazing. This one has LED lights all down the side and at the top so when you open it it’s this nice glow. You could probably even take a selfie. Jen: I bet. Kimberley: Isn’t that what people do? Jen: Yeah, I’ve seen it. I haven’t done it, but I’ve seen it.
