Hi everybody! Welcome to Dishes By Disney. I’m Tierre and I’m Mignon. Wow. Tierre it’s the holiday season and I am in serious need of some cookies. I know. Me too. That’s why today we’re making Mickey Chocolate Peppermint Cookies. I know you love that recipe. I do, because we get to crush candy canes! so exciting. Okay, I’m going to preheat the oven at 350 degrees while we get everything together. why don’t you tell everyone out there exactly what they’ll need. Here’s what you’re gonna need. Rich chocolate cake mix, half a cup of butter, two eggs, a half a cup of mini chocolate chips, which I’m gonna eat, a half a couple of frosting, and candy canes! This is going to be so tasty. You’re going to take the rich chocolate cake mix. Okay. The half a cup of butter. Oh, great. The mini chocolate chips. We love chocolate chips! Don’t have too many of those. The two eggs. Good job. And then, you’re going to spin it all up. Stir. Stir. Stir Okay. Can you help me with this part? Oh yes, sure. It’d be my pleasure. Oh yeah. I’ve got my cookie sheet here and I’ve already added parchment paper, that way the cookie doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Let’s put that right here for you, and what are you making? We’re making a Mickey Mouse face. Okay. So how big should that size be? Medium. Medium-sized. Okay great. i’m going to go ahead and make two small nickel-size circles. It’s gonna get messy. These are going to be for the ears. Look, we made a Mickey Mouse! Now it’s time to bake. It’s gonna take about 15 minutes. Now that our Mickey cookies are baking, what do we do next? Crush candy canes! Okay! I’ve got a plastic bag here. Okay and what do we want to put inside of there? Candy Canes! Ok, how many are you gonna put? Three. Great. But make sure you take the plastic off the candy cane. Definitely. We don’t need to eat plastic. And we have this cool rolling pan, and then you’re gonna crush like this. And get all of them all crushed up. Yes. Voilà our cookies have cooled and are ready for… decorating! Yes! What are we gonna do first? We’re gonna take this pipe bag and hold it right here, so it doesn’t come out the top. Okay, great job. It’s kind of hard. Could I try? Sure. Awesome. Now we’ve got our Mickey frosting face done. This is how you put the candy cane crumbles on! Take out a little bit; you just sprinkle all over the cookie. I like candy canes and peppermints, so I put a lot. Just a little bit more … and voila! We made a Mickey Mouse Peppermint Chocolate Chip cookie. Yes… let’s do it, let’s do it, let’s take a bite. Ready? 3-2-1 mmmmm I think we better get these finished so we can give them to our friends and family who are going to love them. Well, I hope you enjoy Dishes by Disney. See you next time! Bye, everyone!
