Kitchen Redesign Ideas for Small Kitchens

Small Kitchen Redesign Any kitchen that is small in size can still
easily become an amazing gathering place or a wonderful spot for any gourmet cook. A smaller
kitchen redesign takes less planning and is usually much less expensive than doing a large
kitchen renovation. There are a few main factors that can make your small kitchen redesign
go from basic to extravagant without breaking the bank. The Space
The starting point for most homeowner’s kitchen redesign is having an overall measurement
of the space they have to work with. Always consider that walls can be removed, cabinets
can be relocated, and a contractor can easily move outlets for your appliances. The Materials
When choosing materials for your kitchen redesign it is important to not skip quality to save
some money. Cheap materials, such as tiles and counter tops can end up breaking early
and will lose their new kitchen look. Consult your designer or material supplier before
purchasing. Also, keep color choices in mind to help your kitchen redesign tie in well
with the rest of the house. The Install
Unless you have some past experience with renovation and kitchen redesign, we recommend
seeking help from a professional general contractor. Insurance is also a big thing to look for
in case any accidents or mistakes are made you are not held liable and will end up with
a great finished renovation. Picking the right installer is the most important decision you
will make when planning your kitchen redesign.

  • I had to like this video due to the fact that it says walls can be removed. How does that make it a small kitchen redesign? Surely it would then become a bigger kitchen. My walls are 18 inch thick stone ones with another house on each side and a wall of rock behind. How about some kitchen designs where the only space available is the existing space, in my case, 9 feet square?

  • This video contains good amount of information about kitchen redesign, materials and usage of space. I believe kitchen color and proper ventilation are also important things to consider.
