6 hours on a gas grill seems a little much and rather daunting
Chef ScruggsSlow-Smoked Baby Back Ribs (Gas Grill Method)1: Skin the ribs by removing the membrane2: Cover ribs in dry rub and rub it in 3: Let it sit for 4 hours or overnight in the fridge4: Create Smoke Packet: Aluminum Foil – 1/2 Dry Smoking Chips & 1/2 Smoking Chips soaked in Apple Juice (Apple Chips Recommended)5: IMPORTANT – Indirect cooking method – Turn on burner on side and place Smoke Packet on hot burner6: Once smoking begins, add ribs over the OFF BURNER (No Heat Side)7: Smoke the ribs for 3 hours8: Place the ribs in aluminium foil meat side down9: Add 1/2 cup of Apple Juice on top of the ribs10: Close foil (careful not puncture the foil with the bones) and cook ribs meat side down for 2 more hours11: Unwrap ribs; flexibility indicates they are nearly done12: Place ribs back on grill and ladle your favorite BBQ sauce heavily 13: Cook ribs meat side up for 1 more hourTotal grill time: 6 hoursTotal preparation time: 10 hours

This guy is using a gas grill, soaked chips, and states hickory wood is too strong. Nah!!!!
