I’m going to show you how to make carrot and golden raisin salad. She’s going to make a salad with caramelized carrots and raisins In Morocco, we like sweet and we are famous for savory and sweet dishes so this is one of them and this is delicious Let’s start! Peel the carrots, trim off the bottom and top cut in half lengthwise, and remove the hard core. Thinly slice and dice each carrot half into small cubes. Boil water in a saucepan and add a pinch of salt. Place the carrots in the saucepan where they are barely covered with the boiling water. Cover the saucepan, and cook on medium heat until the carrots are crisp-tender. Now get the rest of the ingredients ready! Add the golden raisins vanilla sugar, ground cinnamon, and sugar to the carrots. Mix. Continue cooking uncovered, for around 15 minutes or until the water has completely evaporated and the carrots are soaking in a syrupy sauce. Finally, mix in the vegetable oil and lemon juice Cook for another minute. And that’s it! Plate the carrot salad and decorate with cinnamon sticks. You can serve it warm, but chill in the refrigerator and serve it cool; it tastes even better. Bon appetit
