Eggs Devaux – New Food Recipe


Hi everyone, I’m Davy Devaux and I’m going
to show you guys how to make Eggs, Bacon and Toast my way.
First you’re going to need to separate the egg whites from the egg yolk, so crack open
an egg. Now you take an empty bottle of water and you just suck the egg yolk, there we go
and then you just transfer it over. It couldn’t be easier.
Okay moving on, whisk the egg white. A good little tip to prevent the egg white from splitting
you just add a couple drops of lemon juice. So you just want to whisk it up until it’s
a liquidy sort of foam, you don’t want it to be a hard foam because otherwise it won’t
cook very well. Alright, so this is more or less the consistency
you want to get. You want to add some coconut oil or butter
to the inside of the metal ring, this is so that the egg white doesn’t stick to it, so
a very important step. Once it gets hot enough you want to start adding your egg whites.
Make sure to only fill it about one quarter the way up, you don’t want to overdo it but
you do want to put it in a U-shape so that the walls are already starting to cook. At
this point you can add your crispy bacon bits if you’re making it with bacon and make sure
to leave a hole in the center where the egg yolk will go.
Now it’s time to add your egg yolk, make sure you have crispy bacon bits so it doesn’t pop
it because it’s quite fragile. And now you add the rest of your egg whites. Don’t fill
it all the way up because the egg white will expand, so just leave a little bit of a gap.
Alright now to flip it over, it’s really hot so you’re going to want to do this quickly.
Now I am going to just stick a knife into the sides just to separate the walls a little
bit. You remove it from the pan and quickly you cut through and you release from the stainless
steel ring. You have to do this quick because it’s going to start deflating as soon as you
do this. Now you transfer it over to your toasted bread, you only have about three or
four minutes before it completely goes down, so it’s best to bring it straight to the table.
What you’re looking for is a nice runny egg yolk, it’s just beautiful. It’s like an egg
cloud, it’s the most light breakfast you will ever encounter in your life.
