not everyone loves Broccoli but everyone wants to eat healthy today I’m going to show you how to make a recipe that combines raw broccoli with other tasty ingredients to make a Broccoli Salad. Let’s get started! You’re going to need two crowns of Broccoli 1 and 1/2 strips of Bacon 1/2 cup of shredded cheese today I’m
using sharp cheddar cause it gives that that extra flavor, half of a red onion, 1/3 cup of slivered almonds 1/3 cup of raisins, and then for the dressing, we need 1/3 cup of mayo, a tablespoon of red wine vinegar, and two tablespoons of sugar first, take your broccoli and cut them up. I’m using broccoli crowns but you can find them in the supermarket already packaged and cut up into florets for you then take your onions and chop them up finely. Next cook your bacon until they’re brown, and then once they’ve cooled chop them up into bits then take your chopped broccoli bacon bits, chopped onions, grated cheese slivered almonds and raisins, and combine them in a bowl toss it up well now let’s move on to the dressing mix your mayo, red wine vinegar, and sugar into a bowl with a fork whisk it until it’s super smooth finally, toss it into the salad and flavor it with some salt and pepper if you need it and then you’re done! this salad has a nice crunch from the broccoli and it has that sweet and sour taste from the raisins, and it also has a sweet and sour flavor to it from the red wine vinegar.
