Aloo Matar Curry Recipe by (Cooking with Asifa)


Place pan on stove and fill it with water (1 glass) Onion (1 ) Tomatoes (2-3) Garlic cloves(6-7) & ginger (1 inch) Salt (1.5 tsp) Red chili flakes (1 tbsp) red chili powder (1 tsp) Coriander powder (1 tsp) Turmeric powder (1/3 tsp) Cover & cook on low flame for few minutes . Let it cool down and make paste by using chopper. In a pan, add oil (1/2 cup) Cumin (1 tsp) Black cardamom (1) Cinnamon stick (1) cloves (4-5), black pepper (8-10) Peeled potato (1 kg) Stir fry for 1-2 mins It will turn light brown add peas (1/2 kg) tomato paste you prepared Stir fry for 4-5 mins or until oil separates. Now add water in it. Cover & cook for 10-15 minutes Switch off the flame Add green chilies (6-7) Chopped coriander (6-7 tbsp) Cover for 5 mins and serve.
