US and Kazakhstan Businesses’ Training and Technology

Recently, the Republic of Kazakhstan revealed that two of its businesses have completed deals with American companies Pilot Training College and General Electric to acquire essential US technology, training and knowledge. Such agreements promoted the bilateral economic goals ran through by both US President Barack Obama and Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, counting Kazahkstan’s aims for enhancing the industrial development by means of acquiring advanced American technology and expertise.

The National Railway Company, a Kazakhstan-based business, made a partnership with GE Transportation for the Commonwealth of Independent States Shunter Locomotive Program. In addition to this, the country’s Air Astana also signed a contract with Florida’s Pilot Training College to mentor 24 pilots before the end of the year.

According to the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the US, Erlan Idrissov, the deals made will promote and establish new jobs and offer opportunities for US and Kazakhstan companies to form alliances. According to the ambassador, Kazakhstan can take advantage of the United States’ enhanced training and technology, and this can help significantly improve economic growth and development in the industrial sector.

Idrissov further said that by applying these agreements, a positive economic outcome is expected of the Commonwealth of Independent States market, with the number of consumers reaching to 280 million. In addition to this, the economic ties between the United States and Kazakhstan will improve while also opening doors for more economic and trade cooperation and better business opportunities between the two countries.
